 Wedding Vows  in English (Option A )

The groom says:
I  (...), take you (...) to be my wife.  I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad,
in sickness and in health.  I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. 

The bride says:
I  (...), take you (...) to be my husband.  I promise to be true to you in good times and in bad,
in sickness and in health.  I will love you and honor you all the days of my life. 

Wedding Vows in  English (Option B)

The groom says:
I  (...), take you (...) for my lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward,
for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. 

The bride says:
I  (...), take you (...) for my lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward,
for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part. 

Wedding Vows in English (Option C)

The groom says:
In the name of God, I (...) take you (...) to be my wife, to have and to hold from this day forward,
for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish,
until we are parted by death.  This is my solemn vow.

The bride says:
In the name of God, I (...) take you (...) to be my husband, to have and to hold from this day forward,
for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish,
until we are parted by death.  This is my solemn vow.

 

How to Say Your Wedding Vows

Typically, there are three ways of expressing your marriage vows:

1. Repeating the vows after the priest by short segments.
2. Memorizing  your wedding  vows. 
3. Expressing marriage vows  by consent, that is  "I do" form.
